Imam-khatib of the mosque "Mergan ota" Kattakurgan district of Samarkand region O.Uvaytov with mosque's employees visited 40th secondary school in the district. Imam-khatib talked with the students about the teacher's career.

Speaking about Islamic attitudes towards teachers, Ovaytov commented on the Prophet's (May Allah bless him and grant him peace) hadith and said that Muslims have long respected teachers and mentors, because it is the teacher's role that Muslims' children will be able to attain maturity and happiness in this world and in the Hereafter. As an example, he relates an example of the life of the sultan of hadiths, Imam Bukhari.

Imam-khatib and the mosque team donated to the schoolchildren the Uzbek translation of the Sahih al-Bukhari book, the most authoritative source after the Holy Quran.
