Narrated Abu Masud Al-Ansari:
The Prophet peace be upon him said, "When a Muslim spends something on his family intending to receive Allah's reward it is regarded as Sadaqa for him."
Umar ibn Khattab radiallahu anhu reportedI donated a pedigree horse in the path of Allah. Its possessor made it languish. I thought that he would sell it at a cheap price. I asked Allahaposs Messenger peace be upon him about it, whereupon he said Donapost buy it and do not get back your charity, for one who gets back the charity is like a dog who swallows its vomit.

It was narrated from Abdullah bin Masud that the Messenger of Allah May Allah bless him and grant him peace said There is no permissible envy except in two cases A man whom Allah has given wealth and caused him to dispose of it in a proper manner, and a man to whom Allah has given wisdom, and he acts in accordance with it and teaches it to others.rdquo

Anas ibn Malik radiallahu anhu reported Allahaposs Messenger peace ne upon him as sayingThree things follow the bier of a dead man. Two of them come back and one is left with him the members of his family, wealth and his good deeds. The members of his family and wealth come back and the deeds alone are left with him.

Narrated aposUmar bin AlKhattab I heard Allahaposs Apostle saying, The reward of deeds depends upon the intentions and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended. So whoever emigrated for worldly benefits or for a woman to marry, his emigration was for what he emigrated for.
