Narrated Jarir bin Abdullah:
I gave the pledge of allegiance to Allah's Messenger peace be upon him for to offer prayers perfectly, to pay Zakat regularly, and to give good advice to every Muslim.
Every Muslim is the recipient, guardian, and executor of Allah's will on earth; his responsibilities are all encompassing. A Muslim's duty to act in defense of what is right is as much part of his faith as is his duty to oppose wrong.
