'And they say, “None will enter Heaven unless he is a Jew or a Christian.” These are their wishes. Say, “Produce your proof, if you are truthful.”' (Surah al-Baqarah, 111)

People can not trust something has no evidence and the document. Allah will question those who follow other people's beliefs and shirk:

'Whoever invokes another god besides Allah—he has no proof thereof—his reckoning rests with his Lord. The disbelievers will not succeed.' (Surah al-Mu'minun, 117)

Everyone should be able to prove his point with evidence. If anyone hears his sentences, they should ask for evidence. If he has no proof, people should not accept.
