Together with the United Arab Emirates, the first ''mGovAward'' national contest for the development of state mobile apps in Uzbekistan has been announced.

Participants in the ‘’mGovAward’’ competition will have to create a mobile application that will help to solve one of the existing problems in Uzbekistan.

Students can try in 5 areas:

- Education;

- Health care;

- Tourism;

- Transportation and Logistics;

- Business and G2B.

The main criteria of the competition: the effectiveness of the application, its innovation and simplicity in use.

Applications for the contest will start on September 26 as part of ICT Week.

Contest Award Fund - $ 100,000

1st place - $ 50,000;

2nd place - $ 30,000;

3rd place - $ 20,000.

The winners will also be eligible for free travel to the UAE and direct participation in the IT Park incubation program.
