Almighty Allah says in the Quran:

'Satan wants to provoke strife and hatred among you through intoxicants and gambling, and to prevent you from the remembrance of Allah, and from prayer. Will you not desist? Obey Allah and obey the Messenger, and be cautious. If you turn away — know that the duty of Our Messenger is clear communication' (Surah al-Maidah verses 91-92)

This verse emphasizes that intoxicants and gambling may cause animosity and hatred among Muslims.

There is a great deal of information on the intoxicants that can be done badly to individuals, families, society and all mankind. The whole world - Muslim, disbeliever, godless and even alcoholic knows this truth.

These two verses are the last verses about the intoxicants in the Quran. Here it is stated that it is completely haram.
